Overview of Taj Mahal Tour
Taj Mahal : - A never forgetting experience of the white marble " Taj Mahal " The love story behind the making of Taj Mahal is of historic importance. It is more than just looking magnificent. The story seems to be adding a soul to the world’s most magnificent Tomb. Red Fort : Magisterial Red Fort of Agra was built in 16th-century. This walled city is made of red sandstone that was the center of the Mughal Empire. Fatehpur Sikri : -Akbar took a great interest in the building of Fatehpur Sikri to honor the Sufi saint Salim Chisti . Fatehpur Sikri is one of the most well preserved Mughal forts. It took fifteen years to complete the fort and palaces within the walled city. Royal palaces or royal ladies , a Mosque, courts, private quarters, utility buildings & harems. Fatehpur Sikri served the purpose of a capital till 1585. Later it was abandoned due to the scarcity of Water. Today all three monuments you see are the most impressive UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Our Praag Travels India representative will receive you from your hotel and transfer you to New Delhi railway station to board the superfast AC train Shatabdi Express to Agra. ( Here please note, anybody asking for your ticket & says your ticket is not valid do not believe on him & stick to your place. )
06:00 Hrs.
Your train Shatabdi Express departs from New Delhi railway station. Tea & Breakfast will be served in the train.
08:06 Hrs.
On reaching Agra,( PTI ) executive will pick you up from Agra Cantt railway station and will bring you to a hotel for use of Washrooms etc..
08:40 Hrs.
Visit the Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world. Take plenty of time to explore as it is the highlight of your tour.
11:30 Hrs.
Visit Agra Fort a vast museum of interesting buildings, started by Akbar. Every Mughal Emperor right up to Aurangzeb added something. Construction of the Agra Fort started in 1565 and was completed in 1573.
12:45 Hrs.
Transfer to a restaurant for buffet lunch.
13:45 Hrs.
Drive to Fatehpur Sikri - built in 1569 by Mughal Emperor Akbar is a very well preserved red sandstone fort . It was abandoned due to the scarcity of water.
18:00 Hrs.
Evening free to explore the Bazaar of Agra. You can buy most famous Sweet dish of Agra “Petha’’ made of white ash gourd & other Marble handicraft souvenirs’ there.
19:45 Hrs.
Transfer to Railway Station to board your train to Delhi.
20:25 Hrs.
Shatabdi Express the fastest train departs Agra. Meals on wheels .Dinner is served in the train.
22:30 Hrs.
Arrive Delhi. Our ( PTI )executive will receive and transfer you to hotel / airport.
